NN3 Visa (Foreign Organisation / NGO Worker)

The NN3 visa is for foreigners working for a foreign NGO, a branch of a foreign trader, or the representative office of a foreign economic / cultural / specialised organisation in Vietnam (the NN1 / NN2 variants are for the heads of such offices/projects). It needs a sponsoring registered organisation in Vietnam and is normally paired with a work permit and a temporary residence card. There is no personal financial test. Visa term up to 12 months; longer residence via the work permit + TRC.
