The Residence Pass-Talent (RP-T) is a 10-year pass for high-skilled expatriates who have already worked continuously in Malaysia on an Employment Pass (commonly 3+ years), earn a basic salary around RM15,000/mo, hold a current EP and have filed/paid Malaysian tax for the qualifying years. The prior-employment-in-Malaysia gate is the defining requirement.
