Quebec's PSTQ (Programme de sélection des travailleurs qualifiés) replaced the PRTQ in late 2024. Applicants declare interest via Arrima and are scored on a Quebec-specific grid. Recent 2026 rounds required ≥ 12 months main-occupation experience in last 5 yrs, French oral level 7 / written 5 on the Échelle québécoise (≈ CLB/NCLC 7 oral, 5 written), and minimum scores 709–722 by stream. Some streams require ≥ 1 yr full-time Quebec diploma. After CSQ, applicant lodges a separate federal PR application.
