Global Talent Stream (LMIA fast-track)

Global Talent Stream (GTS) is a specialised LMIA stream for high-skilled tech/specialised talent, paired with 2-week work-permit processing under the Global Skills Strategy (GSS). Category A (referred by a designated partner — first 2 positions ≥ CAD 80,000/yr or CAD 38.46/hr, additional positions ≥ CAD 150,000/yr or CAD 72.11/hr). Category B (occupation on ESDC's Global Talent Occupations List — mostly NOC TEER 0/1 STEM). Employer must develop a Labour Market Benefits Plan. LMIA processing 10 business days (80%). GTS work permits valid up to 2 years.
