Temporary residency for foreigners with stable passive income from foreign-located assets (financial instruments, real estate, business interests). Wage income is excluded. Under Disposición DNM 1.732/2023 (as modified by Disposición 3.446/2023), the threshold is 5 × Salario Mínimo Vital y Móvil = ARS 1,815,000/mo (May 2026 SMVM = ARS 363,000). Income must come from foreign-domiciled assets and transit Argentine banking channels (BCRA-authorised). 1 year, renewable; permanent residency after 3 years.
